It’s almost the end of January and I’m only now posting about my Christmas presents – subtext: get it together Amy – and you may have noticed that my blog has not yet been redesigned … It is in progress but work has been hectic so sadly it’s had to go on the back-burner for a while.

With that said, I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! I certainly did and wanted to talk about one of my presents which I’ve been longing after for a while now, the ZOEVA Rose Golden Luxury Vol 2 brush sets.

There are 20 brushes between the two – 8 in the face set and 12 in the eye set – which are all handmade using a mix of natural and synthetic hair, depending on the brush.

My first impressions are that these are incredible. I’ve managed to blend my cut crease off on a few occasions by blending with the same ferocity I had to use with my old MAC brushes – in their defence, they’ve put up with a lot to this point – and the contour brush is like a whole new world.

I’ll be posting in more detail about my favourite brushes from the collection and more about each set, but in the meantime I’ll just be here, blending like a crazy women.

Have you tried ZOEVA brushes before? What’s your verdict?
