Renovation Progress

29th October 2016

My life has been totally consumed by the renovation work we’re having done on our house; I’ve been doing my washing-up in the bathroom sink, my laundry at my Mum’s and my idea of a good Friday night has become looking at tile options or swatching paint.

It’s so exciting to see it all coming together but realistically Pinterest-worthy photos are a long way off.

To further complicate matters, in the middle of this I discovered I had a kidney stone, queue lots of hospital visits and weeks of feeling rubbish meaning poor Aaron has been left tackling the wall paper removal -a job which comes only slightly before renal colic in my list of least favourite things- on his own.

I haven’t felt much like blogging but every day something in the house changes and so I’ve been taking photos and thought it would be fun to share them and document the process on my blog.

It’s a difficult process to renovate your house but the result would be so nice in the end. Love the white marble pieces, if I ever own a house I would definitely put white marble everywhere!

Thanks Yiota! It’s been hard living in it whilst we do it but I think it’ll be worth it x
