My skincare travel bag

23rd February 2016

I’m spending some time in France this week and thought I would share which products I take with me when I’m on the go.

Can we take a moment to appreciate this pug make up bag? It’s from Catseye and I love all of their designs.

I always take my skincare products in my hold luggage to avoid the 100ml hand-luggage limit, although two of these products are conveniently 100ml.

My travel skincare routine consists of twice daily cleansing, toning and moisturising; I tend to leave serums, day / night creams and anything else at home to reduce the amount of stuff I have with me.

I have settled on a trio of products which help tide me over and always work well with my skin. Clarins Gentle Exfoliating Toner has a similar effect for me as Pixie Glow Tonic so I rotate them along with a non exfoliating toner and as the Clarins bottle is smaller, I bring it away with me. I also take Emma Hardie Moringa cleansing balm, in the convenient travel size, as in short I can’t really live without it (#cakeface). Blue Lagoon mineral moisturiser is my moisturiser of choice so I use it here, when I’m away, basically for all occasions; If you go to the lagoon you can get samples which are a lot smaller and great for popping in a travel bag, but I’ve run out (boo!).

Would any of these products have made it to your travel bag? What are your travel essentials?

This post wasn’t sponsored & products featured were purchased by me. You can find similar products to Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm in my directory.

I’ve never tried anything from Clarin’s or Blue Lagoon actually. Is it bad I tend to use make up wipes as skincare when travelling. I always moisturise though, right now I’m using the Vitamin E cream from the Body Shop.

I’m not normally a huge Clarin’s fan but this toner has been really good. Ha, I have banished wipes entirely but I can totally see how they would be convenient when on the go! I’ve heard good things about that 🙂

I try to travel with minimal skincare, too, keeping everything to the bare essentials with the usual three step process. I hope you enjoy France, Amy!

I think of all the skincare products I’ve tried and used, that moisturiser is the one product I would recommend more than any other. I got my mum using it recently, I should brand rep for them haha. I’m having my “hen” party there and am already thinking about the products I need to stock up on whilst there x
