If you read my make-up posts, you’ll be familiar with my love for mattes. I find myself always complaining that palettes could use a few more, so decided to fill out my collection with some versatile neutral shades -along with one cheeky shimmer which managed to slip through- from Makeup Geek.

I love the quality of Makeup Geek eyeshadows, they have great colour payoff and wear well all day. These matte shades all blend wonderfully and I intentionally selected shades which could all be worn together for just about every type of look, either as a transition shade or for the full look.
From left to right, top row: Crème Brulee, Peach Smoothie, Baby Face.
Middle row: Frappé, Latte, Barcelona Beach.
Bottom row: Cocoa Bear, Americano, Bada Bing.
Bada Bing is the odd one out as it’s obviously not matte, but I love how subtle this shade is, it’s kind of low key shimmer and it accompanies the mattes I got nicely. So far my most used are Frappé, Latte, Cocoa Bear and Americano.
The palette I’m using is a Z palette, which I was pretty impressed with. They’re very reasonable and can be used to house either eyeshadows or blushes, although in theory any product would work as it comes with metal stickers for non metallic pans.
What shades would feature in your Makeup Geek palette?
