Good morning! I’m blessed with a baby who sleeps well, so am finally getting close to my eight hours again (well, sometimes. Babies are unpredictable creatures). Which is good because I’m horrible when trying to operate on no sleep! One thing which always gives the game away when I’m tired is my under-eye area. I’m talking dark circles not even the most heavy duty concealer can hide. Think along the lines of walking into a wall. Or sleeping with my mascara on. It’s a bad look. Enter the Hydra-Gel Eye Masks from Elemis.

I first received the Hydra-Gel Eye Masks in a Look Incredible subscription box and loved them. So picked up another pack of 6 as part of an offer. Before I talk about them in a little more detail I should say that these are not cheap. A pack of 6 Hydra-Gel Eye Masks direct from Elemis will set you back £48.50. But for anyone not wanting to purchase a pack, you could get a single use sachet to try, pick them up in a subscription box or experience them at an Elemis spa day.
I’ve had several Elemis treatments at the Celtic Manor Resort Spa and loved them. These Hydra-Gel Eye Masks were used and I love that they are available to purchase for an at home spa experience.
The Hydra-Gel Eye Masks feel instantly cooling, making them feel really relaxing to wear. Hyaluronic Acid hydrates the skin whilst the other ingredients -plankton extract and Chlorella- go to work on tightening and smoothing. I like these masks because the results are instant and who doesn’t love a bit of a quick fix? I can’t speak for if they would have a cumulative effect over time, because the price point of these make them very much a novelty. But I like to pull them out for a little skincare SOS. For those no-sleep nights which coincide with me having to go somewhere the next day.
