Daily skincare staples

pixi glow tonic

I’ve posted recently about a few new skincare products I’ve tried and loved. But I wanted to share the products which I use daily or a few times a week, without fail. After switching between acid toners, I’ve found Pixi Glow Tonic to be my favourite. I swear by Emma Hardie’s Amazing Face moringa cleansing balm. And I’m obsessed with the Blue Lagoon skincare I’ve tried.

Glamglow Youth Mud Mask

A relatively new addition to my routine, I use this mask every two weeks and love how soft it leaves my skin.

Pixi Glow Tonic

I switch between toners every few days and tend to use a non acid toner in the evenings, but Pixi Glow tonic is my favourite and one I would recommend to everyone. It exfoliates and helps reduce redness and marks from spots.

Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa cleansing balm

If I had to pick my all time favourite skincare product, it would have to be Emma Hardie’s amazing face cleansing balm. This stuff works miracles, especially if you’re like me and are partial to a face full of make up every day.  It feels a little weird at first as it’s such a greasy feeling product but the oil breaks down make up, pulling it all off effortlessly. Since I started using this two years ago I’ve noticed a huge difference in my skin.

I double cleanse in the evenings using a less intensive cleanser to remove some of my make up first, Bodyshop’s seaweed cleanser is a firm favourite. In the mornings I alternate between cleansers and occasionally use Emma Hardie then too. I can’t get enough of this stuff! They recently started selling it through M&S and now in these smaller tubs, I get the pack of 3 of these (which comes with 3 flannels) and it works out the same price as the larger tub I normally get only I now get slightly more and 2 more flannels, win. These are also a handy size for traveling.

Blue Lagoon mineral moisturising cream

This is a bit of a random discovery, but I can honestly say this is the best moisturiser I’ve ever used. I’ve switched about a bit with moisturisers and tried lots but hadn’t settled on one I loved, until I tried this whilst visiting the Blue Lagoon spa in Iceland. I’ve seen a huge improvement in my skin and now use this twice daily. I’m on my third tube but one lasts me for about 6 months. You can apply it really generously and it absorbs quickly and fully. I’ve got my family using this and joke I have to keep returning to Iceland to stock up. They do sell it online along with some other great products, so I would really recommend trying it.

I love trying new things and to rotate products throughout the week but these four are pretty much always involved.

Do you like any of these products? What are your skincare favourites?
